In case you haven’t heard the latest buzz from Seattle…..the Chihuly Garden and Glass made it’s premier Monday, May 21st as the newest addition to the Seattle Center.  A unique art  experience consisting of an eight gallery exhibition hall, garden plaza, and the centerpiece Glasshouse.  The Garden and Glasshouse feature the work of Dale Chihuly and offer a look at what has inspired and influenced him along the way.  Located next to the Space Needle, the Chihuly Garden and Glass adds some unique beauty to the Seattle Center landscape.  One of our favorite pieces is the garden of glass, Mille Fiori ( a thousand flowers in Italian), located in the exhibition hall.

Seattle Center is easily accessible via the Monorail, a short 3 block walk from the Inn at the Market.  A Seattle boutique hotel located in the heart of the city at Pike Place Market.

Chihuly Garden and Glass is open Mon-Thurs 11am-8pm, Fri-Sun 10am-9pm.
