Marchè will host their annual Drink Pink Rosè party this Thursday, May 17th!  Every year the courtyard  of the Inn at the Market comes to life when the Rosè starts to flow…… a sign that summer is on it’s way!  For $15, patrons can enjoy their first glass of Rosè and passed hors d’oevres.  Cyril, Wine Director for Marche and Cafè Campagne will offer a variety of Rosès to taste and enjoy!  Come for the Rosè and bites or stay for dinner and be treated to a special course of  bouillabaisse prepared by Chef Daisley Gordon.

Inn at the Market is excited to welcome our newest addition, Chan.  Located in the courtyard of the Inn, Chan will introduce modern Korean fusion to our already eclectic mix of eateries.  Chan is the brain child of Heong Soon Park who owns and operates Bacco Cafe, located on the corner of the Inn at 1st and Stewart St.  Born in South Korea, Park is excited to be bringing some traditional and modern Korean food to downtown Seattle.  We’ve been lucky enough to taste some of the new menu, and it doesn’t disappoint!  From bulgogi sliders to pork belly with kimchi, the menu offers a great twist on traditional Korean fair.

Opening May 1!  Chan will be open Tues-Sunday, 5-11pm.  Located in the courtyard of the Inn at the Market.

On April 21st, Inn at the Market celebrates the Space Needle as it turns 50! Built for the world’s fair in 1962, the Space Needle is an iconic part of the Seattle skyline.  To celebrate, Seattle Center is rolling out their “Next Fifty” campaign with a host of events from April 21-October 21.  The events will commemorate the last 50 years, and look toward the future of 2062. The 5th Avenue Theatre just announced their 2012-2013 season and there are some great shows coming to Seattle!  The new season will feature new productions like the holiday musical Elf, American classics like The Music Man and Tony Award winning productions Memphis the Musical and Jersey Boys.

While we wait for spring to arrive, the 1st of March marks the beginning of one of our favorite events in Seattle.  Dine Around Seattle offers diners the chance to check out some of the best restaurants in Seattle at a fraction of the cost.  For 29 days, the participating restaurants will offer a 3-course dinner menu for just $30, with many of the restaurants also offering a 3- course lunch menu for just $15!

For visitors to the area, this is great way to experience the variety of cuisine that Seattle has to offer.  For locals, this is a great way to check out some of the neighborhood hot spots in Seattle.  Some of our favorites here in Pike Place Market are participating this year, including Chez Shea and the Steelhead Diner.
