September marks the waning of summer. With fall right around the corner, now is the best time to check out Seattle's outdoor venues and events. Inn at the Market suggests visiting one or all of the following:

Restaurants with outdoor seating and stunning views:

Pink Door

Place Pigalle

Old Stove

Some events to check out are:

Aug 29-Sept 1: Bumbershoot

Aug 30-Sept 22: Washington State Fair

Sept 6-7: 10th Annual Cider Summit Seattle

Sept 17-18: Elton John

Sept 20-22: Fremont Oktoberfest

With whale-watching at peak season set sail and charter a boat for a tour or venture out on your own. Consider taking a day trip to San Juan Island. Lime Kiln Point State Park is one of the best places in the world to view whales from land. Three pods of orcas spend their summers in the San Juan Islands. You may also spot mink whales, porpoises, seals, sea lions and otters.

Then, after a long day, unwind with a glass of wine on our newly renovated rooftop terrace. We are featuring a thoughtfully designed outdoor space with plentiful seating, fire pits, and a pergola. Be sure to look up and catch the Piscid meteor shower, as it apexes on September 9th.
