For the first time in the history of the U.S. Open, the Pacific Northwest will be the host for this annual golf tournament. Chambers Bay Golf Course located southeast of Seattle in University Place, is also the youngest course to host the event. Visitors from all over have come to see this prestigious competition. Yesterday was the kick off for the event with opening ceremonies where visitors were able to catch a glimpse of the U.S. Open Championship Trophy. Golfers can be seen this week exploring the course and prepping for championship rounds this Thursday, June 18th. Read the history of the Chambers Bay Course here. If you are interested in taking part in any of the festivities, check out details here on what to expect.
We have finally completed the final stage our room renovation at the Inn at the Market. Take a look at our newly remodeled rooms here! The remodel includes new bathrooms, flooring, wall coverings, furniture and design. The inspiration for our new design is a modern, streamlined look that includes elements inspired by the Pacific Northwest including weathered hard wood floors, soft lighting, bright tile and reclaimed wood desks.
Located in the Atrium Floor of the Economy Building in Pike Place Market, the Atrium Kitchen is a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen open for chef demos, cooking classes, tastings and many other events.
