This fall, Pike Place Market is hosting a new event that will allow visitors to experience the market in a new way! Behind the Table: Meet the Artisans of Pike Place Market combines the food and drink festivities of other events like Sunset Supper and Arcade Lights with a unique opportunity to experience firsthand many of the artisans that create in the Pike Place Market. Tickets for this event are $40, children under 10 are free. Purchase tickets here.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the Market Community Safety Net. Check out all of the upcoming events for the season on the Pike Place Market Events Page.
Tell us something we don’t know! Travel + Leisure rated the best mac & cheese in the country a couple of years ago, and the line outside the door today reminds us that Beecher’s Handmade Cheese located here in the Pike Place Market is still on that list! Beecher’s Handmade Cheese opened their flagship store here in Seattle in 2003. Visitors have been lining up for their famous mac and cheese ever since. Gooey, cheesy and smoky, we can’t get enough. Some days we mix it up with the grilled cheese sandwich or fresh cheese curds, but usually the mac and cheese is all we can think about.
Located just above Beecher’s Cheese is our Beecher’s Loft Suite. This 1400 sq foot suite is fully stocked with a complete chef’s kitchen, outside grill, water view deck and completely unobstructed views of Elliott Bay and Pike Place Market. There is no other spot in the city like this!
Book your next overnight stay or event in Beecher’s Loft today!
Tickets are still available for Sunset Supper this Friday, August 15th at Pike Place Market! This annual fundraising event offers patrons an opportunity to try many of the best restaurants in the city by filling their plates with tasty bites and their glasses with equally tasty drinks! Proceeds of Sunset Supper benefit the Pike Place Market Foundation which funds many organizations within the Pike Place Market that help keep this community thriving. As neighbors in the market, we proudly support this event and are already planning our course of action to get through the crowds by looking at the vendor list and event map you can find here. If we don’t see you in line for the wine, we’ll see you on the dance floor!
