Arcade Lights at Pike Place Market

This spring, Arcade Lights made it’s debut in Pike Place Market.  This highly anticipated food, wine and beer fest did not disappoint!  Hoards of locals and tourists made their way to the market to feast on artisan food, craft beers and wine.  The premise was great, the food was amazing, and the beer was ever flowing!  Lucky for us, this is a semi-annual celebration and the next “party” will be October 12, 2012.

Entrance fee includes 10 tokens you can exchange for food or drink, and if you run out…you can always buy more!  The real challenge is saving room for dessert.

We highly recommend heading down to Pike Place Market this fall to savor some amazing regional food and drink that will knock your socks off!

If you’re looking for boutique hotels in Seattle to make the visit complete; check out our current rates and specials at Inn at the Market.

King Tut Continues

Have you seen Inn at the Market’s Seattle hotel specials involving the King Tut exhibition at Seattle Pacific Science Center? Our package includes 2 exclusive VIP tickets to Tutankhamun: The Golden King and the Great Pharaohs, 2 monorail tickets, valet parking, and locally made pyramid truffles. Check out our Seattle hotel deals to learn more.

The Seattle Times calls the King Tut exhibit, “beautifully arrayed and lit,” adding that, “almost all the pieces have room enough to walk around them,” including “dazzling gold jewelry, masks, and personal items.”

Seattle is King Tut’s last North American appearance and Egypt has stated that the artifacts will then remain in Egypt indefinitely. This really could be your last chance to view these artifacts.

September in Seattle

September is one of the most beautiful months in Seattle. Summer lingers and events abound. Unlike many Seattle hotels, Inn at the Market accommodates a variety of worldly guests, as well as locals spending a weekend downtown. In fact, Inn at the Market is one of those treasured hotels Seattle likes to call home.
