The Gorge (in George!) Amphitheatre

One of the most picturesque places to hear music, The Gorge is located approximately 2 hours east of Seattle off of I-90, near the town of Quincy, WA.It offers reserved, box and general admission lawn terrace seating overlooking the Columbia River. Campgrounds are located nearby. Some of this year’s lineup (May 24th-September 29th)includes the Sasquatch Festival, Kings of Leon, Dave Matthews Band & Journey/Def Leppard. Unforgettable!

Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery Summer Concert Series

A memorable music experience awaits you in Woodinville, WA (about 45 minutes east of downtown Seattle) at one of Washington State’s iconic wineries, Chateau Ste. Michelle! This is their 35th year of pairing great music and exceptional wines, available on-site at their store while you enjoy the music. Limited deli items also available however many bring their own picnic. Running June 10th to September 15th and including some incredible bands such as Yes, Gipsy Kings, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Sheryl Crow, Steve Miller & Peter Frampton. Tickets are going fast!

Marymoor Park Concerts

This 5000-seat venue is located about 30 minutes east of downtown Seattle in Redmond WA in one of King County’s most active parks. Since 2013, a variety of outdoor summer concerts have been featured. This year’s line-up (running June 8 to September 9th) includes Robert Plant & the Sensational Space Shifters, I Love the 90’s Tour with Salt-n-Pepa, Vanilla Ice, Sir Mix-a-lot, Rob Base Young MC & DJ Kool, Vance Joy, Willie Nelson & Family and ending with Jason Mraz (to name just a few). Tickets can be purchased here or at the Showbox Box Office just down the street from the Inn at the Market at 1426 First Ave.

BECU ZooTunes at Woodland Park Zoo

ZooTunes is another of Seattle’s more unique music venues and a summertime favorite! Nearby neighbors will often gather and picnic while they enjoy the eclectic mix of performers (Ziggy Marley, Psychedelic Furs, The Roots, Pink Martini and more!)in the middle of Woodland Park Zoo. You can come early to explore the world-renowned zoo and then make your way to the North Meadow where the concerts take place. Concerts start June 13 and run until September 9th, general admission festival seating, rain or shine. One child (age 12 & under) free with each paid general admission ticket. Ticket sales fund animal care, conservation projects and educational programs.


Ending the summer festivals on a high note Labor Day Weekend at Seattle Center is Bumbershoot, August 31-September 2nd. With artist appearances by J.Cole, The Chainsmokers, Lil Wayne, Ludacris and Blondie (just to name a few)!
