Spring is officially in the air and after a long (and snowy!) winter, it’s time to get outside and savor the season! Lucky for you, Seattle has an abundance of green spaces full of beautiful blooming plants to bask in. To kick-start your springtime celebration, book your Inn at the Market stay with our new Sunday Funday Package: check in on a Sunday to enjoy 10% off your accommodations and free valet parking upon arrival. Once your accommodations are taken care of, take a look at a few of our favorite places to find Seattle’s best blooms this spring.

Pike Place Market
A few steps from our downtown Seattle hotel, peruse Pike Place Market’s iconic flower stands and take your pick from the perfectly colorful bouquets of fresh-cut tulips. The locally sourced tulips are available throughout the spring season at just $5-20 per bundle.

UW Cherry Blossoms
If you really want to be wowed, head to the University of Washington’s campus for a spectacular display of Japanese cherry blossoms in the Quad. The tiny blooms on each of the 29 cherry trees make up an explosion of pink and a quintessentially Seattle view.

Volunteer Park
Volunteer Park, a 50-acre refuge in Capitol Hill, is overflowing with plants both indoors and outdoors, so you can visit this springtime destination rain or shine (which is important when in Seattle). Stroll the flower-filled grounds or head into the Volunteer Park Conservatory to meander through ferns, cacti, and palms.

Skagit Valley Tulip Festival
If you’re up for a little bit of a road trip, make your way up to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival to see the famously magnificent tulip and daffodil fields. We love visiting RoozenGaarde, a brilliant five-acre display garden showcasing 250,000 bulbs and an authentic Dutch windmill.

Washington Park Arboretum
The gorgeous Washington Park Arboretum, situated on the shores of Lake Washington, comes to life with color every spring thanks to its assortment of rhododendrons, azaleas, and more. Explore Washington Park Arboretum’s 230 acres of foot trails, lawns, and ponds, and don’t forget to stop by the Seattle Japanese Garden while you’re here.

Overlooking Elliott Bay and located in the heart of Seattle’s vibrant Pike Place Market, our boutique Seattle hotel adjacent to Beecher’s loft offers a signature Pacific Northwest experience treasured by visitors and locals alike. Whether you seek an on-the-go adventure or tranquil urban hideaway, Inn at the Market’s luxury suites in Seattle provide comfort and style surrounded by our city’s most acclaimed restaurants and iconic landmarks.
