Fall Wine Tasting in Seattle

Woodinville is beautiful, Napa is divine, but what if you want to explore local wines without an Uber? This is where local tasting rooms come into play. Within a few blocks of the Inn at the Market, you can find almost a dozen local tasting rooms offering local wines and bites. A handful are located right here in Pike Place Market. 

Here is a compilation of nearby places and spaces to enjoy local wines in downtown Seattle by foot, bike, scooter, rickshaw or wheelchair.

Located in Pike Place Market

Northwest Tastings in Pike Place Market highlights rotating local wineries and is home to the White Heron Winery Tasting room.

 The Tasting Room is located in Post Alley across the street from the Inn at the Market featuring small-lot, hand-crafted Washington wines.

Pike & Western is located on Pike Place one block from the Inn and features Friday Afternoon Tastings as well as Theme Tastings. In addition, the shop helps us to fulfill special request for guests of the Inn.

Truffle Queen is located on Pike Place and is a purveyor of specialty foods and wines.  A great spot to grab a bite along with your wine.

Wildridge Winery is located in Pike Place Market in the North Arcade. The Inn at the Market features Rachel Red and Billie Blanc two unique wines produced by Wildridge with proceeds benefitting the Pike Place Market Foundation.

Located in Downtown Seattle

We Rise Wines has a wine bar on 2nd Avenue one block from the Inn. Featuring a great happy hour, great food and large selection of local wines, We Rise seeks to build awareness of wines from diverse and underrepresented winemakers.

Le Caviste is a French bistro and wine bar offering all the best French bites, Bordeaux and Burgundy one little wine bar can manage. The only wine tasting room downtown that does not offer local wine, but everyone needs a little Beaujolais in their life from time to time.

Located in Pioneer Square

Browne Family Vineyards is a staple of the Washington and PNW wine landscape. Their beautiful tasting room offers indoor and outdoor space, delicious bites and, one of our favorites, Wine & Pizza Tuesdays!

BacoVino is a new tasting room on the north end of Pioneer Square and a block from the new Waterfront Park connection. Featuring Washington wines built on the guiding principle of joie de vivre, the vibrant embrace of life.

Locus Wines features savory and sweet pairings….chocolate pairing?  Yes please! Known for producing wines with higher acidity and less oak making them ideal for food pairing.
