Seattle Spring Events

As the sun sets later and the flowers start to bloom, spring in Seattle comes to life. The Pike Place Market flower stalls begin to fill with colorful bouquets from local farms, restaurants shift to their spring menus. Goodbye cassoulet and hello asparagus season at Café Campagne… and the beautiful Seattle waterfront glistens as we gather on our terrace to take in the views. This spring offers many reasons to plan a visit or a staycation in downtown Seattle. We’ve put together a list of our favorite things to do in spring in Seattle.

April Events

-Explore outdoor parks in Seattle to enjoy cherry blossom season, including the Washington Park Arboretum and the University of Washington Quad on our best outdoor spaces to enjoy in Seattle on our blog.

–Skagit Valley Tulip Festival kicks off this month with fields of tulips to explore and local festivals to enjoy.

–Seattle Cherry Blossom & Japanese Cultural Festival at Seattle Center April 10-12.

-The current exhibit at Seattle Art Museum is on display now through August 2^nd, Beyond Mysticism: The Modern Northwest.  Book our Seattle Art Museum Package to take advantage of complimentary valet parking and tickets to this event.

-The award-winning Le Misérables at the Paramount Theatre runs April 7-19.

-April 10-19 at the Pacific Northwest Ballet is Giselle and April 16-25 is A Midsummer Night’s Dream.  Catch a ride on the Seattle Monorail to Seattle Center for easy access from Inn at the Market.

May Events

– Explore films at different venues throughout the city during the 52^nd annual Seattle International Film Festival, May 7-17. 

-The 18^th Annual Pike Place Market Flower Festival will take place May 9-10. Pair this weekend event with brunch at Bacco Café or Café Campagne to treat mom for Mother’s Day.
