Opening March 11th at The 5th Avenue Theatre, Waitress the musical graces the stage. Sara Bareilles’ famous pop-rock musical is filled with fun, music, joy, laughter, and pie!
On March 12th, the Seattle Art Museum will welcome the opening of a historic exhibit Ai, Rebel: The Art and Activism of Ai Weiwei. Featuring the work of artist Ai Weiwei, this event will be the largest US exhibit of his work spanning the depth of his 40-year career and marks the first US retrospective in over a decade. Starting March 16th and continuing through the 20th, Le Panier French Bakery in Pike Place Market will celebrate Macaron Day. This annual event that began in Paris was brought to Seattle and adopted by Le Panier in 2012 to celebrate the macaron! With over twenty delightful flavors, there is something for everyone. A portion of the sales during this event go to serve and benefit communities in and around Seattle.
The first day of spring, March 20th, is welcomed each year in Pike Place Market with Daffodil Day. This year marks the 28th annual event of this day where vendors, friends and merchants of the market spread their spring cheer around downtown Seattle offering locally harvested daffodils and smiles to passers-by. This year stop by the Clock & Sign on Pike Street to grab your very own spring cheer!
The Seattle Mariners home opening game of the season is March 27th at T-Mobile Park. You’ll find us in our festive Mariners team swag enjoying our favorite ballpark hotdogs and beer for this all-American spring pastime. Tridents Up!
