Wellness in Seattle

Our new year’s resolution for 2026 is to explore all the things Seattle has to offer to bring wellness to our lives. Seattle is a city of opportunity and new experiences. From outdoor adventure to culinary explorations, Seattle offers a taste of many cultures along with a history for innovation, music, sports and art. A piece of this puzzle includes health and wellness. From our miles of bike paths to our never-ending love of water activities, what we call fun is also called wellness!
We have curated a list of our favorite go-to wellness experiences that Seattle has to offer. All are accessible via car or public transportation, just a short journey from the Inn at the Market.

On the Water:
Located on Lake Union, adjacent to downtown Seattle, floating saunas are taking Seattle by storm. Wild Haus Floating Saunas are available to book for private groups. Combining a cold plunge with the heart-friendly benefits of a sauna, this is experience offers a two-for-one in wellness. On top of that, your sauna will float around the lake offering views of Seattle you cannot experience any other way.
If you are looking for a guided experience, Seattle Sauna may be a better option. This option is on Lake Union, but does not float. Enjoy the view and health benefits while staying in one spot. Enjoy a kayak around the lake and end your journey in the sauna!
Just steps away from Pike Place Market across the Overlook Walk you can enjoy Sauna Socials at the new Waterfront Park. This experience combines sauna, cold plunge and community! Take in the views of Elliott Bay and the lights of downtown Seattle.
A short drive to West Seattle, sauna lovers can experience a cold plunge and steam at ByWater Sauna on Alki Beach or at Good Day Sauna in Lincoln Park. This option combines an outdoor walk in the park or along the waterfront to combine exercise with your sauna, a perfect wellness match.
